FERN TEATHER
(Guitars and Vocals)
Fern Teather is a 20 year old singer/songwriter from Suffolk playing a mixture of acoustic folk, folk-rock, and Americana music. She has been described as, “A fantastic young artist, with an enchanting and infectious song-writing style”, by Tom Simpkins of BBC Cambridgeshire. Maverick Magazine called her an “incredibly talented singer-songwriter, whose tone belies her youth”.
Fern has always been very interested in musical theatre and was part of multiple productions during her school years. She went on to study Performing Arts at Suffolk New College in 2013-14, before deciding to pursue her songwriting career. “I love being a singer-songwriter, but I do miss the theatre sometimes. I’m incredibly excited to combine the two in Guardian Angels!” Fern’s debut album recorded at David Booth’s Debenham Studio “Hiding In The Dark” was released last year. Fern lives in Bury St Edmunds.
